WELCOME TO LOW-T-MICHIGAN

Low-T-Michigan, is an Division of MesoHealth P.C. We have been offering Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) since 2005 for men suffering from Andropause (age-related or premature decline of normal testosterone levels). We offer the most effective forms of testosterone replacement therapy using either Testosterone Injections (Daily Testosterone Microdosing), Testosterone Pellet Therapy, or SERM (Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator / Enclomiphene)

WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR TESTOSTERONE REPLACEMENT?

  • If you are 37 years of age or older and suffer from (1) Lack of Energy (2) Difficulty Concentrating (3) Loss of Muscle (3) Decreased Sex Drive (3) Increased Anxiety (4) Decreased Sense of Well-being, you may certainly benefit from Testosterone Replacement.

  • If your baseline testosterone is less than 350ng/dL (or less than 450 on two separate first morning lab draws)

WHO IS NOT A good CANDIDATE FOR TESTOSTERONE REPLACEMENT

  • if you are still currently trying or planning on having children, we do not recommend testosterone replacement as sperm count may be decreased

  • If you have testosterone levels greater than 450ng/dL, we do not recommend testosterone replacement as your body still has the capacity to produce adequate amounts of testosterone. It’s important to understand that going on testosterone replacement will NOT add to the testosterone that you already produce. In fact, it will suppress it. Once an individual starts testosterone therapy, the new testosterone levels achieved are predominately a reflection of what is being administered to you during treatment.

  • if you have a history of untreated prostate hypertrophy, testosterone can indirectly increase prostate swelling due to conversion to dihydrotestosterone (DHT)

  • if you have a history of untreated prostate cancer, testosterone can accelerate it’s growth. Patient’s that have had prostate cancer treatment will require clearance from their Urologist to undergo testosterone treatment

  • if you have untreated sleep apnea, testosterone replacement therapy can worsen it.

As with all prescription medications, there are risks and benefits associated with all forms of testosterone replacement therapy. For this reason, testosterone hormone should only be administered under the supervision of a licensed medical professional who is knowledgeable in all aspects of testosterone replacement.
